Death is worthy of new branding. Grim reapers, blood, and gore have given death a harsh image. If the death positivity movement is going to have success in shifting the narrative of dying then pairing non-threatening stimulus with the words and concepts of death could assist in shifting from fear&loathing to any number of emotions. These other emotions could include whimsy, romance, excitement, longing, humor, or nostalgia. The process of change takes time but starts with us learning to see death and dying differently.
